Watch on Amazon

Coming up to the big 30 soon and my parents want to get me a gift, of course i mentioned Mustang parts but all christmas's and b-days for the last 2 years have been nothing but!!!! So i have to pick something else....

I am thinking about this watch and would save $1,400 by ordering in the US.

http://www.amazon.com/TAG-Heuer-Automatic-Chronograph-CJF211A-BA0594/dp/B001U3YF2K/ref=pd_sbs_watch_4

Has anyone here every ordered a watch on Amazon? It's not a 3rd party seller and is covered by international warrenty.

Or does anyone know a good watch retailer in the US they could recommend?

I checked prices in Switzerland and beleive it or not swiss watches are no cheaper over there. But swiss watches are very expensive in Ireland.

Thanks,

Johnny

Holy shart! wth wears a $2G watch? I never wear a watch and still somehow can tell the time of day.

Spend that money on your car, you'll get waaaaaaay more enjoyment when it's done.

Get the watch!! It will last you a lifetime and you wont regret it.
I shopped around forever, almost got a Tag but decided to get a Concord instead. Well worth the money!!
I know tons of people who shop on Amazon. No one I know has been screwed yet.

My everyday watch is a $20 POS....but i want a nice watch for R&R time and as n_pieces says it will last a lifetime.

Being 30 is a big thing over here so my parents want to buy me something "special"...Dont ask me why but they dont consider Mustang parts as special as i do!!!!!!!

When I was younger I wore a cheap watch. Now I'm older and can afford better.

If Laurie wants to do some scuba diving out here on the east coast, I can point her in the direction of a sub-merged Rolex.

I've never ordered a watch off of Amazon but we have bought tons of other stuff off there and never had any issues.

+1 i am with Mark.Way too much for a watch that only tells time.So does my cellphone.
Although i love watches and i got a watch from my father on my 21st birtday.
At that time ( 29 years ago ) it costs around $500.
I put it off when i got 23 and never weared (wore) one again.
Spend it on the stang and you have alot more fun of the invested money.IMO

Dang...that might be worth dusting off my equipment making a trip out to the east coast!! Hopefully, it's not in too deep of water. :ecit

I'd say go for it...if they want to spend that much money its up to them.

I would love a expensive watch but I can never justify its costs.

If its what you want and its offered..do it.

The same guy who hangs a $6G sign in his shop.

(Sorry Johnny, couldn't resist)

dont worry Duane...the pain has eased....but i'd still rip Steve's head off if i ever see him again...

My $6k sign makes the watch seem cheap....

Holy Shart! I want your parents to adopt me!

But bloody hell! My cell phone tells me the time. Just sayin'...
