Now that teams true colors are starting to show I think we will start to see some better success in all our picks. And...GO BEARS!!!
After watching the Bears tonight against the jets, I think I will pick GB for week 4.

Then you will get that pick wrong. Check the recent history, Bears and GB are always tough, close games and the home team takes the majority. Bears were without 40% of their starting O line last night. Their top defensive tackle, starting safeties, one starting linebacker and number one corner were all out as well. Oh, and Marshall was obviously still not right. They will have gotten a number of these guys back for the Packer game. And the Packer defense is not that of the NY Jets either.After watching the Bears tonight against the jets, I think I will pick GB for week 4.

I hate to actually pick the bears, but I think green bay looks like crap right now. Sundays game was horrible!

A Bears (or Packer fan, for that matter) never jest about a head to head match-up. Serious business. It's tough enough winning a NFL game let alone having to protect your backside from those damn fudge-packers. No time place for levity.Oooo I think I hit a nerve.

And I think I spoke too soon about being deep enough into the season to get a feel for who the "real" teams may be. Just looked at the match-ups this week and not many jumped out as having a clear choice.
And while I have your attention. Are you going to make a reminder in the league that bye weeks have started? Another question for the league. So I am watching MNF, the game is over and I am a winner or loser. What time do you post the winners and unlock the players?

Yes, I will post a notice about BYE weeks although this season it seems all the managers have been attentive. That's a first!
As for posting winners and unlocking players and such, it is all automatically done by the ESPN site. I'm not sure exactly when they post results but it takes a little while for the data to load and also to make sure nothing changes. The NFL reviews all the games and sometimes yardage adjustments get made. Players unlock early Wednesday morning.
