Hello everyone! :thu
My name is Igor and I write from Venice - Italy! I send my best regards!
Thanks for accepting me in your forum and congratulations for your true knowledge.
I bought a Mustang Fastback GT 302 J Code 1968 project car in Marina - CA and I'm trying to restore with a lot of patience and desire to do a great job. Certainly here find much help and information.
I also have a 1968 289 C Code Mustang Coupe, red with white vinyl roof, bought in Houston - TX very well preserved, and that is giving me great satisfaction.
I am a big fan of Mustang '64 / '68 and my dream is to someday have a beautiful 1968 GT500KR Fastback. :wor
Here in Italy there are young fans, but little else is culture of this fantastic car, and most of the Mustang available soon arrive from Northern Europe countries. I love the originality of the maximum car, and I try only those of the chassis and mechanical improvements that allow you to use with more security and reliability.
I hope you'll bear with me if I do not understand the English but I will try to learn, and forgive me if I write with google.traslate, I hope you understand me.
Thanks again for the hospitality and a big greeting from Venice - Italy! :thu

Silverblue Thank you, very much! :thu
Before I decided to enroll, it's been 2 months that I read on a forum and saw that you're one of those most prepared dentr here, your welcome to me is an honor.
I want to see how I can move in here with you, and then certainly will recommend to my friends.
Thank you again.

Igor

Hello AzPete, thanks to you!
Do not worry because even I have not so normal. :)
If you see my Fastback is under what conditions, the complete bottom work to do, understand that this is the right home for me.
I'm seriously considering whether I should buy a '67 coupe healthy floor pans and rails freim and do the conversion to Fastback! .. :hs
Here you can see a video of my car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH2L3155n9k :roll

Hi Igor
Welcome to this forum man.
Now I am not alone anymore from mainland Europe.
As you can see , I am from Belgium.
Alot of Italians live in Belgium but to my bad I can't speak any italian.
Again , welcome !!!

ps pinpoint your position in the members map !!

and just so we pronounce your name correctly...is it

Igor as in I-gor (Young Frankenstein)

or is it

Igor as in E-gor

B67FSTB: My grandfather worked in the mines in Belgium for 20 years! ;-) I know very well to hear your compliments country. :thu
Where I find the section to place my position in the world? (sorry just be patient but are not practical ..)

silverblueBP: my name is pronounced like E-gor Igor (no Frankenstein Junior :) even though my friends do it for a laugh! :yah

Thanks again for your hospitality, I hope in some small way to help you with my tiny little experience, although I will start to look a lot and try to learn.

Here in Italy else is very little knowledge of the Mustang, engine, body, and the whole car in general. For the restoration almost as much as I have to do yourself, or tell what to do mechanically, so I will make you 1000 questions.
I hope to understand and learn a lot from you on this fantastic car, and who knows one day racing in the States with my Fastback that I hope to finish in 2 to 3 years. :steer

P. S. if someone joined facebook can ask my friends, I am Igor Lazzari - Fossalta di Piave - Venice - Italy. :bowdown

Welcome Igor; and just ignore Mark (Silverblue), his brain has stressed/strained from muscular cranial stretching to help support his mammoth like ears.

:sm_NTA

What is it with this implication of me and big ears?
