Welcome RacerX

Hmmmm, RacerX...let's hope he drives something other than a PT.

Hi,
I usually go by RacerX and found the login was still available here as well. I have a corral of mostly early mustangs in various stages. I have also recently acquired a 66 Kirkham Cobra project. My latest build I'm working on is a 65 Convertible that was abandoned by a restoration shop near Houston (I guess he got too deep). But actually he didn't get deep enough. I first sent it to a sandblaster and found out just how much I had to remove of the swiss cheese sheetmetal. I've cut off all the bad panels and am now in process of putting in the 1 piece floor, left rear frame rail and transition pan. Also doing a complete brake overhaul on a 73 convertible 351C car we picked up on Mothers Day 2009. I mean complete as I've pulled axles, backing plates and front brakes down to the spindles. It's a 116K mile car. We are the 3rd owners and I'm getting it ready for springtime driving. It was sitting in a barn for over 20 years before we bought it.

Anyway, enough about me. Perhaps I'll get some pictures posted later as time permits.
I work in I. T. for a living, married with 2 kids, 1 in his first year of college.

Later. Folks.
See you on the board.

What's a PT?

My daily driver is a 2009 Dodge Hemi Ram. Great car hauler!
My wife works for a Ford dealer, that also owns a Dodge dealership.
Tryin' to keep it all in the family.
