So Saturday I completed my first marathon. Some grueling hills, two of which were un-runnable to the point I felt a ladder would've been useful. Hamstrings were trashed at mile 23 but made it. 4:17:26 including a poop break. 4:11:57 actual run time. Today I go in and find out I passed the state BLET exam. Everything sounds great huh? I realized I have to get a job. I wonder if there is a fire school coming up anytime soon.........

I guess now I have a little more time to get back to giving ya'll a hard time. I see not much has changed. Mark still has a broke car, Jack is still a liberal, Mid still does sheep, Sheldon is still a kung-fu wanna be, and Kev is taking up the...well...let's just say a lawyer deserves to get it in return. And WhoTH are all these noobies?

Congrats and well done. My daughter just did her first half-marathon, which was supposed to be a father & daughter thing, but worn out meniscus has forced me to hang up the running shoes--enjoy it while you can.

Congrats on the run brutha!

As far as the car being broken, WTF are you talking about? Runs just fine. Only thing stopping it from being on the road is algore's global warming ain't worth shart. It's still winter here.

If I'm not mistaken, that's an excellent time for a newbie at marathons...quite competitive!

Duane it's easy enough to figure out whether you want to follow that LE or go fire. If you wanna be loved, go fire!

Congrats on the exam and the marathon! :thu

Thanks guys. So how long is your car fixed for Mark? First sunshine? I really didn't know you fixed it...I don't think. Maybe I forgot.

411? Where did you stop for lunch?

I know that this is the 100% certain way to piss off a marathoner. Great job, seriously.

Piss me off? Hell no. And ftr, I am not a marathoner. I just ran one. Marathoners are people who do them over and over. Like this one girl I was running with for a little. Well, I use the term "girl" loosely. It was her third in..................six weeks!!! And the BLET exam, Basic Law Enforcement Training. Seriously Mark, your car was fixed when I came out to KS? No way. And the TA, I can't pick on that 'cause I like 'em too. Every time I see that commercial of the "dudes" driving through Sonic in an old Charger I can't help but think of you. 'Cept they don't judychop the worker.
