and found myself near one of Craig's favorite haunts. More on that later. Some members of the local SHO forum cruised the South Bay today, leaving from Morgan Hill. The day started out overcast, but cleared up into a beautiful afternoon. We cruised through the Santa Cruz mountains to Watsonville, where we had lunch and pie at Gizdich Ranch. We then continued to the coast and through Santa Cruz on Highway 1 and onto Swanton Road, a bumpy curvy road paralleling Hwy 1. Then on to Pescadero to a market to get sourdough bread (one of the members was raving about their bread), which was right down the street from the infamous Duarte's Tavern. I didn't see Craig--I guess he was busy enhancing his Cleveland. We finished at Hwy 280 and Sand Hill Rd. Nice drive, over 150 miles total.
