What cam y'all running.

Re: What cam y'all running.

Mine will be just enough to burn tires and be kinda quick between lights but still be a good cruiser.

I went with the CompCams XE262 but I have AFR heads. You have to be careful with the stock heads, once you get close to or past .50 lift the studs can pull out. Aftermarket heads normally have screw in studs. The XE262 was a decently aggressive cam but still has close to stock level vacuum for my PB. I used their free program CamQuest to narrow down my cam selection and then discussed it with my builder.
It hasn't had it's first start yet so I can't tell you any impressions yet.

Have this in my 302 with 68 4-V heads with 1.84"/1.54" valves and about 10.5:1 compression . Also used the matching springs .

Very noticeable cam .

I'm running an E303 cam, 1.7 roller rockers...pretty lumpy and old school, but from what I'm reading, has been improved upon by the Comps XE series.
