What else am I forgetting before dropping Clevo into Shag this weekend?

Woke up around 2am realizing that I haven't thought about installing the steering column before we drop Clevo into place? Good god, what else am I forgetting?

Sat am, installing clutch and tranny to the motor. Sat pm, Christmas shopping.
Sun am, dropping in the motor. Sun pm, back to Christmas shopping.

Remember, it's just installing an engine into a car. It's not open heart surgery.

And if it's something easier to install with the engine currently out, go ahead and install it. Hooking up the steering would probably be easier with an open engine bay.

Good luck.

Waking at 2am because of things on your car or this site makes me wonder about you for sure. Plus. you would have noticed the steering when you got into it to drive......

Postpone the christmas shopping until the eve of the 24th, this will leave more time during weekend to work on the car.

But it started out as a steering question..............

Pete nailed it. I knew some lamebrain would try to accuse me of posting it in the wrong board. That's why I mentioned the steering column. Yuk Yuk Yuk

All brake lines are installed.

It'll end up talking about beer anyway.

I was just about to post about having plenty of Wattles on hand.... damn work got in the way and Mark beat me to the punch....

Wattles???? Someone mention Wattles??????? I heard that cap getting opened............ Gotta find a cold one now..... Ahhhhh...so good.

J, don't get too picky. I'd associate steering with suspension. BTW, I like going in circles :vic

Definitely brake lines and tie them very good together.I was wondering if you can also mount the brake booster and mc so you can test the brakes before you put in the enginewith trans. Its alot easier when a leak occurs to fix it!

Bruno,
The brake system has been completed and tested for a few weeks now. MC, booster, etc all installed.

I think I'm good to go.
