If it makes you feel any better, there are tons of Cruisers on the road here in Texas as well.

My wife has a 2004 2.4L GT....I don't much care for the car to be honest and luckily I pretty much never drive it except on rare occasion. It has a little "get up and go" with the turbo but nothing that I would take to the track or anything.
