Thought it would be fun to see what type of local food you bozo's prefer to stuff in your tummys. What is one of your more favorite local restaurant to take the better half or BF/GF to and what dish draws you to this place?

One of my favorite is Duartes Tavern which is located along the coast in Pescadero, CA. which is less than an hour drive. This place forces us to drive through the mountains and along the coast which is a bummer itself.........RIGHT!!

Then we have to sit down for lunch to woof down our favorite combination of crab sandwich chased down with Artichoke/Green chile soup. And if we have the room, polish all that off with a piece of their home made Ollie-berry pie. Here's a couple links. So whenever you guys come out here and want to take me out to lunch.........ahem

Not so local for you guys but....

I commonly go to Carlitos Takeway....http://www.carlitos.ie/takeawaymenu.html

And I'll have a Pizza Pollo which is "Pizza base with BBQ Sauce, chicken, bacon, red onion and melted mozzarella " and Sloppy Joe Fries
which is Fries covered in chilli minced beef with melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese and garlic mayonnaise....

Dam it.....Now i am hungery.....looks like I will be heading for a pizza.....

I got plenty of favorites but right now I'm pretty high on a place called Tommy Nevins.

Irish Pub style place that has a great menu (Comfort Food section in menu is traditional Irish fare), stylish decor and awesome bar/regular crowd.

Second runner up right now is any of the dozens of El Famous Burrito locations around Chicagoland. Some of the better tacos, etc. in the area and you can't beat $1 taco nights (Sun/Tues/Thur) every week at the south Naperville restaurant. Guess what's for dinner tonight!

Don't really have a "favorite" I am probably happiest with a steak off our grill and sharing it with my loving wife and sweet grandaughter!

The Palace Grill in Santa Barbara.

My wife and I have been going there longer than we've been married.

the Cajun Martini (served in a Ball canning jar, quart or pint size, one per person) and Lousiana Redfish are to die for.

In n Out Burger is always good.

I found a new burger joint named Fronk's by the house. It's amazing....

Oh yeah Portillo's is always good :yah

I rarely eat out, but one place I never pass up is when I go back to Florida. A little north of Flagler Beach on AIA is a small seafood dive called the Turtle Shack. They serve the best shrimp and crab crakes your tastebuds could ever want. I always make sure to stop in while I'm in town.

Not local to me anymore, but it is my favorite when I visit San Diego: Roberto's. It's a chain of drive-through Mexican joints, and their food is to die for! No ground beef, only shredded meat.

My favorite place is a local bar/restaurant in a small town in southern Minnesota. It sits on a lake so you drive your boat up in the summer and your truck (or snowmobile) in the winter...and it has the best burgers! My favorite is their Channel Burger - 1/3 pound burger with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg.
