Wheels for my 73 Vert

Thanks for all the input. I've decided to go with the Magnum 500's.

I could use some advise now on sizing:
I'm thinking: 15 x 7 upfront and 15 x 8 on the rear

RyanG85 already gave tire sizes :wor

Also; if anybody has a great place to buy these (and not break the bank) I'm all ears.

Thanks again!

Double check the sizes. I've never dealt with the big bodied cars. You might be able to run more tire than that.

Inform yourself at its best before buying rims and tires .
Best info is to go to meetings and see for yourself how it looks in real.

If you really want to make this set of wheels your last...call Shaun at Street or Track and talk to him. He rents a tool so you can figure out the max tire size. He also may be able to get you a good price on the Magnums.

Here is the final outcome: I found these 73 Mach 1 wheels and couldn't pass them up. They are wrapped in Firestone Firehawks/Indy 500. (225/70 R14).

Nice. Funny how the period correct wheels always seem to be the perfect look. Just goes to show some of those designers knew their stuff.

What a beautiful profile that 73 vert is with its top down.
