When can they charge your credit card

I ordered some parts for my chebbie truck back on 5/3. They charged my card same day. Not having received it yet I called. They said the order was shipped on 5/10, out for delivery today.

:wtf - Isn't there a law about suppliers cannot charge until they ship unless it's a deposit?

Not illegal, particularly if they state a window for shipping. Two weeks is stretching things if they don't state that, but up to four weeks is allowed...you can reverse the charges but you'll have to ship it back if you receive it.

I never look that quickly. Besides, the parts arrived yesterday PM. The problem was the postal took over a week to ship this box from OR to CA via priority.

All is good. Especially my cooking!
