Why NOT to leave deodorant in your car on a hot day

Water main broke outside my apartment building last week, so I had to go to my parents' house to shower. I left my deodorant on the passenger seat of my SHO when I got to work. Here's what I came out to at the end of the day:

This is after I peeled the deodorant off the seat. It had cooled down by then

The melted deodorant

Yes, it all melted

At least my car smells fresh and clean now.

That that sucks. I hope the stain isn't permanent, but looks like could be. Alcohol can remove the dye from the leather. I once saw a leaky perfume bottle ruin the leather seat in a Caddy.

BTW, any European will tell you that personal hygiene is over rated.

Well, like Schroeder with his closet full of Beethoven busts, I have a few nice passenger seats stashed away. I'll be swapping out at least the bottom cover, if not the whole seat.

And Craig makes fun of me for my weekly Pick & Pull visits. :craz
