Wife bought me a 65 convertible!

While on the way home from the Power Tour, we stopped and looked at a red 65 Mustang convertible. I really liked it and the price seamed fair but I didn't buy it. It appeared to be all original. A little rough but I've seen a lot worse. My wife actually tried to get me to buy it but I figured I really didn't need it. Anyway, I am over in Saudi you know... and my birthday was the other day. Well she wanted to surprise me, she drove up to Indiana and bought it for me and brought it home. She couldn't stand keeping it a surprise and she had to email me a picture. It is a pretty cool birthday present!
 
That's one heck if a birthday present. All I got this year was a renewal for my mustang monthly.
She's a keeper for sure.

We are gonna need lots of pics when you get done playing in the sand.

ahhh, I can't do it either. I can't wait! here is the pic she sent me. Don't mind the dog, he was driving. It's pretty cool. I have wanted one of these for a long time.

no I won't fit! Not sure what I am going to do with it but it is pretty cool!
Maybe take it on the Power Tour next year Larry!
 
Probably gets great gas mileage, but I think your legs would get pretty tired.

Nice....but I hear burn out capabilities is directly related to the drivers weight.......
