Wild Card Weekend

OK so the football playoffs mean a little less to me this year, but still it is time for the playoff and usually some of the best games of the year. So do any of the teams playing this weekend have a chance? And who do you think is going to the big dance? I want to see someone there who has never been to the dance before and someone to win it all who never has.
So to answer my first question, no. I want to see San Diego vs. NO. On the outside chance that the Vikings were to make it to lose again would just suck, have they been there 4 times before or am I thinking of the Bills? Oh and the winner will be the NFC even though I think the AFC is a much better conference. fd

12 minutes to first game kickoff and I'm all ready!

I predict the superbowl matchup will be the Colts and the Vikings, but I wouldn't put any money on it. ANY of the teams in the playoffs could get hot/hotter and come home with the trophy.

Dave's guess is probably what the odds makers believe. However, I'd love to see the Cowboys get hot. Then again, they haven't even won a playoff game since 96... I have a feeling they'll choke again.

Looks like the bungals showed up today and got a Dirty Sanchez. :lol fd

It's halftime and my Pat's are going to need a freakin' miracle to win this game. At this point they do not deserve to advance..... they're playing like shit and the Ravens came to PLAY!

With my beloved Patriots going down in flames today, it makes it much easier to whole-heatedly root for Bret and the VIKINGS!

OK, let's look at this pro football thing logically. #1 who needs a stadium? #2 Who's ticket sales have suffered the most? #3 which owner has payed or is connected the best?

It has nothing to do these athletes, it has to do with the same reason the Patriots were the winning team after 9/11.

It is all fixed anyway!

Alright, but just so you know beforehand..... if the Vikings follow the Pat's we're heading down south to pull for the Saints!
That works for me.

Mel, we're talking about the NFL..... not the WWE.

There's no way in he!! that it's "fixed".

Mid, can you send Mel one of your tin-foil hats?

If I send him my tin-foil hats, what am I going to do use??? Yukon Jack only goes so far...

The SWMBO is really happy that her boys won. Guess that they are due having not won a playoff game since 96. They also have the best chance of the "road" teams this coming weekend. However, I am pulling for the Vikings because I would like to see Brett go out on top and more importantly I like being the only team with 6, count'em six Lombardi trophies. :coo
But it was kind of boring playoff weekend, the Packers and Cards was really the only exciting game. fd
