Wins two Boss Mustangs, wants to sell......

Hmmm.. didn't see where he said he was buying a Camaro, but I did see he was going to buy a camera! :hide LOL

Any surprise though that he's going to sell them? After all, the guy's "stable" consists of a Focus and a Fiesta!! :homo

If it were me, I'd keep both of them, use the new mustang as my dd, wife could keep one 4 banger, and sell the other one on craigslist or something.

But it looks like he's gonna sell both and keep the vagmobiles.

My misprint...sorry. Thing is...to bad the win didn't go to an enthusiast in the Mustang world that would keep them...

I agree. It would be better if one of us won.
Didn't the person who won the same giveaway last year take the Money instead? Why buy the ticket if you don't want the prize.

He mentioned selling both and buying a 2011 camaro on page 3. He is 24 yrs old and purchased 30 dollars of tickets and won. My luck is so bad, I loose at change machines.

WTF??

Climate change denying, econobox hater!

When he says they said it's tax free he probably means tax free in the sense of if you buy a new car you pay TT&L but he won't have to pay sales tax or license fees when he picks up the cars.

However, my guess is he's in for a very bad surprise when he receives a form 1099 about the time he has to file his form 1040 next year.....people who win on game shows always get stuck paying Federal and California state income taxes on the fair market value of whatever they win. I am not going to register there to warn him but if he pisses away the money after he sells the cars he's in for a shock....

I didn't like the guy as soon as I heard he was selling both. Now that he is gone public looking for sympathetic buyers I dislike him even more. Both he and his wife had to give up their jobs to care for mom? Seems to me there might be a better way to handle the situation. My mom would be the first to point out the ignorance in such a plan.

I see so many holes in his story...
I agree, I was surprised to see his post on Hot Rod and when I read it I thought is was pretty strange... If he is just trying to sell them and worried how to do that, why didn't he take the money option? Going public seams to be weird too because I imagine their are already collectors that would contact him looking for that one-off new Boss. It seams maybe he is looking for the attention.

The more he can get to desire the cars, the higher his payout will be..... Not everyone out there saw the promotion.

however, the sympathy approach would likely make him seam desperate and invite lowball offers. It's not very professional way to get the word out IMHO
