wire and parts for battery in trunk?

I have a new optima battery and billet mount for it. I want to put them in the trunk. I bought 25 feet of 1/0 cable and pos and neg terminals. Where should I ground the neg to in the trunk of my 69 mach? It will br running an electic fan and amp and I will be upgrading the alternator in the near future. Any other tips for ease of installation? Should i put and inline fuse for the pos?

His is an early Stang, mine is a 67, I don't know how much different the 69 is for routing the wire.
