Dave,

I'm terribly frustrated and need your opinion.

Today, a mere 160 minutes into my lunch break, the body shop manager calls and needs me to help an insurance adjuster with an estimate on a car some stupid :fbomb wrecked, drove the radiator and condenser back to the exhaust manifold and then continued to drive it until it stopped running. It got so hot it has no compression and is leaking oil from between the head and block. Its an all aluminum engine.

The insurance adjuster was already gone by the time I got there.

Should I be pissed that they cheated me out of 20 minutes or should I just take an extra 20 tomorrow?

This is simple....

BOTH! WTF is your boss thinking? Screw him for messing up your "me time". Clock 10 hours a day for the rest of the pay period and flag his number on your cell phone so that you won't answer during your lunch break the next time the dip-wad tries interferring with your personal time.

You also need to get in there and ask him for a raise..... this is total BS.

Good advice.
The more time I clock with no work the more time they beat out of me for free. I only get paid when I have something to flag.
If I had 10 hrs a day to flag, I'd only take a 2 hr lunch though.
