Like some info how to install one...have a diagram from an old mustang monthly article but it doesn't make any sense to me..any help would be appreciated...

If I recall correctly it's just like any other vintage mustang cylinder.

It only fits one way. The cylinder goes in from the outside and there's a flat clip that holds it in place from inside the trunk.
