i have the 289 out of my 66 90,000 miles complete minus the carb 2v what is it worth? :dun

Only worth core value which is 50 to 150 in my area. Not much call for them since you can get a crate engine for about the same price as a rebuild. The last 2 I had, I gave them away.

Sounds way too low 400ish in mo for less then complete motors

Never see any for sale in Modesto CA. Might be looking for one real soon though if I can't fix mine. Has an engine knock
