Well I was driving my friends 67 convertible for a wedding this weekend and his side mirror didn't adjust that well. I couldn't get the mirror to adjust up enough for me to use it. I had to actually turn my head to merge into the left lane. :wth I was wondering if there is something to look for when I take apart or should just have him buy another one and I can put it in.

67 Remote side mirror question

David, loosen the screw that holds the mirror to the base. You can see the Phillips head screw in this pic (not the ones that hold it to the door)
The head should then pivot around, find the position that you need and tighten the screw back up.
