68 Mustang Tilt Steering Trun Signal Harness

Wired up the connector to the turn signal harness and the left indicator and brake/tail lights are on without the key on. Cannot find my wiring diagrams.

This is how I wired my connector.

Red is not used.
Check your brake switch.

The brake lights were on because the column was laying on the pedal (Big DUH!).

So What should be where the red wire is?

It isn't used. Wrap the end up in electrical tape, or leave it in place on the connector where the mating connector has an empty hole.

The aftermarket turn signal switch is not Mustang-specific. Other Ford models may use it.

Looks like I need to figure out why the dash cluster left turn light is on. I will first start with unplugging the turn signal harness.
