68 trunk firewall/bulkhead

If anyone has their back seat out of their 67-68, can you please get a few dimensions for me. I need to purchase a piece of sheet aluminum to build a firewall. I need the width and height dimensions.

Thanks!
Mike.

Not sure I would use aluminum since it melts at about half the temperature of iron. Steel would hold up better and is only a few more ounces. I made mine out of an old hood or trunk lid (forgot which but it was a freeby). The best I can remember is the raw measurement was 2' X 4'. I used a cardboard template then cut the steel.

I've got my backseat out. I'll see if I can get some measurements when there's more light.

You have a Mustang??

My '67 coupe is currently disassembled. The stock board used is 37" wide and 15" tall. The height measurement (15") can actually be a little longer 2-3" for better coverage of the openning.
