Making a AOD shifting rod for Bruno so he can use his stock floor shifter. The square tubing bracket allows Bruno to adjust up and down the floor shifter arm to find the sweet spot where the indents of both the shifter and transmission can mesh. Once he finds this new pivot spot which is typically about 7/8" above the original hole, he can drill a new hole or just leave the bracket in place as what I did with Red and Johnpro did with his coupe.
Nevertheless, for a safety purpose I typically install a large bolt through the original hole to help prevent the bracket from sliding down and off the shifter arm. So I pulled out Johnpro's nasty box of old Ford bolts and nuts finding a perfect combo.
