Actually took some time off work this weekend and went to a car show

Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day so I took the boys to a car show (first of the year). Not so many Fords but at least it was supposed to be limited to '83 and older so not too many late models. Only a few mustangs in attendance, with one being a pretty high dollar entry. Pro-built, shaved and de-chromed, custom everything including an IRS. 408W w/ and AOD. Not so much to my liking but cool nonetheless.

The vintage look Chevy gasser sounded as bad as it looked. Real sharp Torino CJ with a 429SCJ. The red 69 had a 390.

Here's a few pics.

I don't think so. Much of it was done by a local Chicago area company called Custom Cars Unlimited. It has been in a few mags so maybe that's why you recognize it.

Here's an engine and interior shot of said car.
