Alternator bracket

Installed my new alternator bracket today but I don't think I had enough spacers for it. Attached is a pic showing what I mean. I have another spacer but its about an eighth of an inch to long cause it pushes one side of the bracket father out then the rest.

Doesn't sit the alternator lower at the engine ????
The adjustable lever sits lower IMO.
 
I've got the same alt setup on my car. And you have the bracket and turnbuckle installed correctly. Here's a couple of closeup of the spacers and turnbuckle.

What waterpump are you running?
