Any Excel 2010 experts out there?

I am trying to modify a page so that when I change the week ending day and the cells with the rest of the days of the week also change to the correct day. The next challenge is to set a row of cells and have the number values total up at the last cell. I looked at the excel help and it is along the lines of a technical manual. :hs

New excel is a biotch. IIRC put in the date and go to the next cell with date and =sum(b1+1). I'm using b1 as the cell with the date. That's also using a numerical format and specifying that cell is a date in your header.

Yes the =sum(b1+1) is the :shee that I am trying to figure out.
