Here is a picture of the annual vine ---they are very pretty and grow well around here, I don't know about hot dry areas, they bloom late summer and climb very well to 10 plus feet, pretty flowers and bright purple pods--unboiled beans are poiser I have read--google hyacinth vine and it tells all aboit them, I am not sure what it would cost to mail a few seeds but I would send out half a dozen or so envelopes with a few in them if you are a flower lover. Once you grow them you have seeds for the next year---I pick the pods off after the vines die and dry. the vines pull easy after they die and clean up east. pm. me with address if you are interested. Lots of pics if you google them--they are not like regular hyacinths.
