blinking instrument lights?

I haven't heard any of the Eleanor guys have the same problem....

Earlier in this thread (or one of the other related threads) I stated that we were using the Scott Drake "new style" dynamite sticks that are powered seperately from the fuse panel. I'm betting that these devices act as relays to boost the power as well as relieve any undue load from the original signal wire.
 
ahh, I remember that. That must be the key...
I did some more research and found that the early 67 Cougar didn't have a brake relay but the later ones did along with all the other relay's When I get home from Phoenix I will wire up at least a couple brake relays (one per side) and see if that helps. I didn't get much time to work on the car this past weekend.
 
yeah, I'm only home on the weekends and some of those are reserved for the honey-do list! It takes me a while to do anything with my limited time.
