Oh go ahead, complain, we are listening. Many of us are nowhere near the flames, but we can cut the air with a knife! I really can't complain, though.
Why? If that owner got out alive so should the car. It goes like this in order of importance. Kids, dogs, wife and car. Load 'em all up and get out. Why leave the car behind?
Do not go to the super waste of money, err super trainwreck.Every year we see these fires erupt all across California. Many times it is discovered that one or more are started by persons either accidental or otherwise. What can be done or is being done in the other months prior to the fire season to try and prevent these things? Couldn't natural fire breaks be cut in / built BEFORE? Couldn't more fire fighting equipment be purchased and made available prior? It just seems every year it reads like some kind of surprise event when at this point it is more of a simple seasonal reality.
Maybe those billions spent on that super train to nowhere could have been used more wisely.
You have the order wrong. Why? If that owner got out alive so should the car. It goes like this in order of importance. Kids, dogs, wife and car. Load 'em all up and get out. Why leave the car behind?
I'm in Colorado and the air is thick. Thanks CA.As Frank said the air is thick and we're 200 miles from the fire.
Yes all that used to be done but Moonbeam cut the funding so he could pay for all the sanctuary stuff. Newsom is right there on the same track and the CA voters must want this sort of mismanagement.Every year we see these fires erupt all across California. So help me understand more clearly. I'm sure that there are both Federal and simply State managed lands involved, right? How does it get fixed? The billions in annual losses certainly far outweigh the costs of proper land management. We all end up sharing much of the cost as initially shouldered by either the government or insurers. It seems irresponsible to allow it to keep happening like this when much could be avoided.Mel, Tim, & Bill: You are aware that Moonbeam has NO JURISDICTION over federal lands when it comes to forest management and fire suppression policy? The current fires are the culmination of decades of mismanagement. There is enough malfeasance for all leadership to shoulder the "blame" here.
Initially, I had it right just like you laid it out but figured I was making to light of the situation and I really wanted to have a serious discussion. It just seems beyond idiotic to me that this seems to happen ALL THE TIME now out there. And I don't buy the climate change BS as the root cause. Natural landscapes routinely experience fires and have forever. It's a very essential part of the health of those ecosystems. You have the order wrong.
Dog, get in the car. Anyone else that wants out move your butt and get in the car, I'm leaving in 30 seconds!
Lol
