Check the simple stuff first...

Do my car had started to run horribly the last day or so. It would slowly go when I put a load on it. I checked the carburetor, plug wires, and the wires to the coil. I'm thinking maybe the choke is starting on too long.

Before I started to mess with the carb, I pulled the distributor cap to checked the rotor. The rotor was super loose. Looked like the screws were backing out. Tightened those down, drove it and now it's running fine. Check the simple stuff first before pulling it apart.

I have pertronix billet distributor with a hei cap. The coil is not on top of the cap, it's bolted in the stock location.
