Cherry tree ....timber!

KBMWRS

Welcome truth back

Well not quite. Last evening while Joann was BBQing outside we heard a loud crack, swish. Look out at our two cherry trees and one had dropped a branch about 10inches in diameter. Luckily it all fell on our side of the fence. Started today slowly breaking it down to fit in those garden recycling bins.

Any pics that confirms the labor has been done...by yourself ??

Glad to hear no damages or injuries when it fell.

Can we concentrate on the fact that it was Joann doing the BBQing? May be time for Mark to handoff the apron. I bet Mike can’t bake cookies quite as good however.

I used to BBQ once or make that twice a year. When we went white water rafting I cooked the Tri-tip & lobster. That was it. I'm no cook.

I can tell it's warm where you live as I would be cutting it up so I can keep my house just above freezing next winter!!

Maybe you should talk to Joann about your plans to compost that branch. She might want to use it for wood chunks when she BBQing. Cherry is great smoking wood.
