i was curious how the finished off the holder, but i can see from that pic that its some sort of plastic insert. Thanks.

My seats have room for a 9" wide console all the way. They fold straight forward and stay at 9" apart so there is no problem there.

Thanks pete. With the stock frames it needs to taper because when folded up the seat back bend toward the trans tunnel. So its about 6.5 inches to work with.

Thanks J. No its not bad because the plywood was 3/4 and way over kill. The Mdf is only 1/2".
