DIY Adjustable Strut Rods Video

Hello everyone. I was a little surprised to see that there were no videos on youtube for building adjustable strut rods, so I decided to put one up myself. My goal was to keep the build cost under the price of replacement oem strut rods. The total project cost came in an $80 (plus another 20 for the die and holder from ebay if you don't already have a 3/4-16 die). I used the concept from dazecars, but axed the clevis for a through bolt style mounting. It is my first video, so be gentle. Thanks everyone.

Wow , thanks for the video.
But I have to make a remark.Sorry for that.

I would cut it off at 15 inch instead of 14 as you said in the video.
At 14 inch , you have too lesser thread.

And I would go for 2.5 inch thread on the hemi joint.

Nevertheless , you did a great job and thanks for sharing it with us here at StangFix.

That is a great suggestion, and I would definitely do that if I were to do it again. Mounts to the car I have about 1" of threads inside the tube right now with a rough alignment.

heim joint is chromoly 3/4 - 16 LH ?
swedge steel tube is 6 inch ?
