Looking for suggestions for protecting wires/harnesses going thorough metal partitions,
bulkheads and firewalls. I CAN'T DISSASSEMBLE the harnesses/wires, etc. to slide a
grommet on.... I would be basically changing the rotation of the earth trying to do that.
Some of these "pass through" locations have wires that are 2 conductor, some are 3
conductor....... wires are maybe 18 or 16 gauge at the max or so.
Any ideas for doing this? I thought about slicing grommets, wrapping around the wire/
harnesses and shoving them in the holes. Anything more elegant you can come up
with greatly appreciated.
This situation brought on by someone who created the harnesses, installed them but
used no protection where wires/harnesses go through metal holes.....
