I think its an early or alternate version of the Kaman Ghia. I have seen similar pictures with that front end.

Got it. This one's a 1968, although that's probably not discernible from this picture. I saw this at Hot August Nights.1500cc Type 34 Karmann Ghia, also known as the "Große Karmann produced during the 1960's
