HEI distributor

anybody running one? personally, i think thats one thing GM got right. had a couple in sbc's & never an issue. just wondered if anyone has one in their ford.
 
I can confirm this , I had this type of ignition on my 75 corvette. :thu :thu
I do believe Summit has one for Ford engines but I think you have to look that you have the right gear/teeth on your distributor so you don't damage you camshaft.( bronze / steel ??? )
To my best knowledge.
 
I agree on the HEI. I run a duraspark distributor with a HEI ignition module mounted in a small alum box. Hot spark, cheap parts, and reliable. Dne' has one of the full HEI distributors she runs on her stang.
