Is there anyway to tell the difference between the different weighted flex plate

Is there anyway to tell the difference between the different weighted flex plates? 28oz and 50 oz just by looking at them are there any markings or numbers on them
 
Look for Ford's date code. I believe they switched in the early 80's so if you have a part number starting with C or D then it should be 28oz and if it has an E it could be either. E6 and later is definitively an 50oz, I have an E6 roller block and been looking at flywheels for mine.
