need advice on these valve covers race spec

I have a friend who has just bought these heads for his 351w they came with these valve covers can they be used on the street ? how would that affect the breathing of the motor?

I wouldn't recommend it, unless you wanted to drill a hole for a pcv grommet in the vc without any holes. PCV is good for an engine's longevity.

Looks like they are vented to either a catch can or to the headers. I have mine vented down to the headers through a one way valve, works great.

Oh, ya know, I didn't see that tube off the side of the one VC. That setup would work.
