New 5 leaf springs, now out of alignment

Rotating the u-joint 180* is refered to as "phasing" and technically shouldn't induce/reduce a driveline vibration. However, the act of removing and reinstalling the u-joint.... if the u-joint was somehow not properly seated/torqued in the first place... and then reinstalling it correctly..... could have fixed your problem.

I had a feeling that may have been the scenario, as the u bolts for the u joint appeared to be way too tight by my estimation (my torque wrench is way too big to even fit down there, and even if it did I do not think it could precisely measure anything under 20 lbs, and certainly not the 8-15lbs it is supposed to be torques to) So basically I had to go on my estimation of what 8-15 is, although I do generally have a pretty good feel for torquing nuts.
