As to the deleted posts about the roll bar and how it is mounted I can assure you that Shelby would not condone how it was done nor would any decent car builder. In fact, a driver could be in more jeopardy with that bar than without. Roll bars/cages are not very friendly when a body/head comes in contact. For this reason, they are built and installed to remain in place and the occupant seat and restraints designed to keep the driver from coming into contact in crash events. If a bar is merely bolted to sheet metal and able to easily tear free that concept fails...potentially catastrophically.
Your car/build is appears to being done to be a correct restoration so keeping things as stock only makes sense. I was just pointing out the safety element for others who might see the pics and think it the way to go about adding a bar to their ride. Not everyone on the internet is trying to pick a fight. Didn't mean to offend.
