Speedo cable

Can I use a universal one that you can buy at local auto parts stores or does it have to be one specifically from a mustang vendor? :shrug

Is there a certain length it needs to be?
 
What one are you looking for? It's for a C4 correct? I still may have one on the shelf that I removed when I swapped out for efi and electric speedo. If I can find it, I'll toss it in the box with the seat brackets. IIRC, it may have a burn mark from the exhaust, but I never had a problem.
 
Yeah need one for a C4, automatic

Before I screw my dash cluster back on, I figured might as well hook up a speedo cable. I never had one since I bought the car since there was never a speedometer, only a tach.
