Taking Corral Trim off of 71-72 Standard Grille

Ok, what is the trick to getting this thing off? It took me awhile to get the chrome trim off but this Corral trim just is not coming off.
 
Ok. I found out how to take it off today. You cannot take it off without breaking it. The part is actually glued on in 4 different places and its made of plastic. So you have to buy a new one if you plan on painting the grille.
