Time to sell the convertible

Mom wants me to sell Dad's convertible. It lives at mom's house, in her 2 car garage, next to her Infiniti. I have it in my garage right now and my 07 GT is at mom's. We will split the money for the sale, but that is really not the point. Once it is sold it is gone. I do enjoy driving it, it is just that I do not leave it out where I cannot watch it. So basically a show car. The rules have changed. I was to be mine when she passed, but now to keep it I have to give her 1/2 of the value. So now it is time to figure out "what it is worth".

Ask her how much she wants...

Would the value be affected by the fact that it's serial #100030, ie: very early 64 1/2 production in San Jose?

That it is “unmolested”. Very few parts have been replaced.
So someone offering bank to make a restomod would be a no.

Update on the convertible. The title has changed hands. It is now mine (or the wife as stated on the registration). Gave mom some cash and did the exchange at the AAA. The convertible says in the garage and my 2007 now sits outside under the canopy.
    Guess I can go to Knott's in 19. ;)

    That's great to hear.

Never argue with a Moron. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Good decision. Now you've got me wondering what will happen to my '69 convertible when I take the big dirt nap. I think my seven year old grandson might want it, but he's a long way off from driving.
