windshield trim removal

Do they reproduce all of he molding for the front and back window, or is that something I should be careful with and have it re chromed?

You need to be careful and using the second tool to release the clip keeps from bending it (sometimes). It is stainless steel and you can have it polished on a high speed buffer (not chrome).

Be careful as the originals fit best. I hade mine professionally polished and a couple if dings taken out they turned out perfect and are a highlight of the car.

Hi! I remember removing my windshield trim moulding. The retainer clips were badly rusted and deteriorated and luckily my moulding came off without much hassle without a tool. I took this photo showing where the retainer clips are as they are difficult to "feel" with the tool. The green tape represents where the clips are. I'd hate to have to remove these again.
