Wire spoke hubcap help needed

Questions...

1. Were wire spoke hubcaps avaliable on 6 cylinder mustangs in 67 (4 lug)

2. Is there a ID stamped in to the factory 6 cylinder rim?



I have a hubcap but I am not sure it fits correctly. 2nd post looking for anyone with an answer. Thanks for the help.

The answer is yes and yes. The wire hub cap was available on the 6 and v8 cars. On the rim face there should be a three digit letter/number combo. It's the date of the rim in, IIRC, Year/Month/Shift (or Day, don't recall which). It'll look something like "7M2"
