128th Semi-Annual StangFix Knotts Weekend 2015

Was a great trip, the shows were fantastic and always nice to see familiar faces, Jeff Mikey, Frank, as well as meeting new folks too, Kelly, Armond.
The Boss made the 900 round trip drive with nary an issue, which was outstanding! Aside from having to reset the idle, I had no problems at all on the trip!
The DnD show was awesome as well, early, but awesome...

Even I might be talked into another MITM. Bottom floor, right side as you face the ocean.
 
Stayed in bed until 8...Jeff called and we went out to breakfast. Then hit the road at 10am...That is the BEST time to leave. No traffic at all on the way to SantaMonica and PCH. In fact the only stop-n-go traffic was there at the beach since they were doing road work on PCH. Then it was a great drive on PCH to Ventura.

Someone please ask about the peanuts in Toni's hair?:rolleyes:
 
I'm sure we'll get to them. I actually have a job so it will be a while.

What a great weekend, seeing old friends and meeting new ones, we were scheduled to leave on Monday morning on a 11am flight,
Toni woke up and was really sick, dizzy, throwing up, the full nine yards, had to reschedule our flight, stay in the hotel for another day, keep the rental another day, so on and so forth. Finally left Tuesday morning and got home about 10PM.
 
Oh no! Well I too had a great time on Sunday and it was great to see you two n all the other 'fixer's.

Glad you made it home safely.

It was a statement that a young man from the VMF who was with us the entire weekend. His girlfriend's name was Heather and during a introduction to other StangFixers he got confused and said.....Hi, my name is Heather.

Made it home safe after screwing around in some national parks for a couple of days. Boy am I beat.

Not sure if I'll make it to Knott's next year due to school conflicts (apparently I can't just take off a week and a half to go hot rodding halfway across the country???) but I'm thinking that Hot August Nights might be a go! Either way, majorly bummed that I've got to wait a year to harass you guys again.

Remember that enthusiasm counts with this crowd. If you don't have the time, you can do what Glenn, Vinny & Toni do, fly in for a couple of days. Long after I registered for the MCA show in Park City, Utah a few years ago, my schedule went sideways and I left my car at home and flew in for the weekend. Still had a great time.

Dieter's got the right of it! I'm just the chick in charge of filling the tank and polishing the paint ;) I'm pretty useless without my vehicle.

However, if I happen to have some extra cash laying around come April... might have to make the flight out! We'll see.
