Rick, too sticky for Optima. Optima officials were nice, I asked if I could do the event just for fun and got a no go. :[

My brother and I missed the drive from Stillwater to Arlington, cause we shot home early Thursday am to tighten my coil overs and wash the car...... for NOTHING! Wish I could have been in the "fix" photo and meet up with everyone and cruise with the tour. Still had a blast and looking forward to doing it again.

Craig, nice find! If you look close, you can see Carla's 66 leading the way! Dairy Queen tires, yes, they were for a day.

BTW Carla's 351W with the AOD got 17 mpg and she ran the snot out of it. Mine did low 20's and I beat the shit out of it everytime we saw a decent crowd waiting and watching us cruise through.

Hated to miss this years tour. I started a new job & didn't have the time to take off. I diffently plan on next years power tour, especially if they are heading east from Texas. Looks like everyone had a good time and the pics are great.

I don't know if the one day stops are all that much fun, I personally enjoy the "drivin" part and Tennessee is a pretty state to drive thru! Sounds like next year could have some great scenery.

Well we final made it home last night from our extended Power Tour, what a great time we had and looking forward to next year.
It was a pleasure meeting all the StangFixer's in Texas and driving with the others, Craig &Tara, John & Julie, Jerry & Carla and brother Robert (glad he got to see the Great Lakes).
I'll post some pictures soon, have to resize them and post them up.
I did just figure out my gas cost, miles driven and mpg's,
$787
3400 miles driven
15.3 mpg, about half the miles driven we used the air,
I'm pretty happy with that.
