2013 Hot Rod Power Tour

looks like the last day is a killer. 316 miles

I agree, they should add a stop in Asheville, the route between Chattanooga and Charlotte is hilly and windey, I don't see making it in under 7 hours.
There is nothing between TxArkana and Memphis that I could ever find other than abandoned farm equipment, not sure why they are stopping in TxArk or Little Rock for that matter, the first 3 days are 3hrs. drive to TXArk, 2 hrs. to Little Rock and 2hrs. to Memphis. If you are going to do a 7hr. drive anywhere in the trip I would do it the first day and relax the rest of the trip instead of leaving a 7hr. drive for the last day and through the prettiest mountain scenery.

I hope we can make this one, have family to stay with at the start and in Chattanooga. Memphis dry rub is great and Beale Street is like a mini-Bourbon Street (w/o the topless ladies unfortunately). Jazz clubs and you can walk down the street with your beer.

I really wish i would have made this years trip even more now- :rant Chattanooga is kinda freaky driving in specially when the crazyasses there drive 105mph on that twisty road by the hoochi coochi river.

I've been watching the BS Hotel thread and those guys are absolute PT crazy. One thing I noticed is none of them mentioned Painless Products. The Painless guy said they were going to be the venue in Texas with tours of the plant and all that good stuff. Don't think any of them were doing the stage thing after the drive.

I agree

Jerry, what Hotel's is Carla booking, let us know. The last day is a long drive, 300+ miles, I've read that some people are staying in Cleveland, Tn. past Chattanooga to be closer to the last stop. Driving through the mountains is going to be slow.
