my aunt and uncle had an Orange Bobcat wagon with the fake woodgrain and tan interior. It was a 2.8 V6 automatic. It was ORANGE orange too. Wild!

mine was the same color blue as the one in the pic. even had those same factory 5 slot wheels too. yeah, i was pimpin hard then. after 6 months in that, it was a major "speed factor" upgrade going to a 71 with a 351c. only thing that took some major "refiguring" with the mustang was dealing with no fold down rear seat like the bobcat if ya know what i mean. :pbj
got that delimma figured out & when i later swapped to the 73 mach1, bought a fold down unit for it at a swap meet & had my playground back!! :vic

The Mustang II was a product of a dark time in Automotive history but it did keep the name going those 4 years as was stated previously and also think how it's front end design has effected the hot rodding world. Any of you guys that have upgraded your steering to a rack & pinion know what a great design came off that little car.

We can only hope that Ford can keep building new Mustangs that do the name proud despite the regs they have to follow.
